Rixonway Kitchens working in partnership with Reallies Ltd through Efficiency North are looking to appoint an Estimating Admin Apprentice to join their estimating team within their Dewsbury Head Office, in West Yorkshire, WF12. The successful candidate will undertake an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, but will focus their learning in CAD design.

Pay details: £6.15 per hour.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements:

  • Have GCSE Grade C/level 4 or above in Maths & English.
  • Have strong numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A background in office based environment is not essential but preferred.
  • Have a keen interest in the Contract Kitchen Market.
  • Be able to work to deadlines.
  • Have exceptional Organisational & Communication Skills.
  • Have strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner.
  • Be self-motivated and able to take an “issue” and see it through until resolved.
  • Have a good knowledge of Microsoft office programs including but not limited to excel.
  • A background in office based environment is not essential but preferred.
  • Be well presented.

Description:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Book on new work – allocate all new enquiries onto the estimating system.
  • Answering, transferring calls and taking messages.
  • Further duties may be required to further support the team during busy periods.
  • Create and maintain customer price lists using in-house estimating software.
  • Liaise with both internal & external customers to obtain any information that would be required in order for the estimators to complete their tasks to be highest possible standard.
  • Download and archive all enquiry documents ensuring complete visibility to other team members.
  • Paper & electronic filing and Archiving.
  • Produce basic customer estimates using in-house estimating software.
  • Produce 3D colour perspectives on the in-house CAD programme to support designers in the team.
