Business: Accountancy.

Training provided: In-house together with Level 3 Apprenticeship Payroll Administrator provided by Smart Training.

Pay details: £11,520 per annum.

Hours: 37.5 per week with occasional need to work over, time off in lieu will be given.

Requirements: 3 A levels, grade BCC or above plus GCSE English and Maths at B or above.

Description:

To help in our busy payroll bureau by processing payrolls, together with some general administrative duties such as answering calls, meeting and greeting visitors and handling post out.  From the start, the successful candidate will have extensive contact with clients and the rest of the team, and will be challenged but supported to develop themselves quickly into a useful member of the team.

As the successful candidate develops skills (both soft skills, technical skills and practical skills) they will eventually have a small portfolio of clients to look after on an ongoing basis.  Future progression depends on the candidate’s performance at work more than it does on exam success.
